History / Background /Credits

Vincent's practical & special make-up effects work is mostly known for his 35 plus years in the business, creating the groundbreaking animatronic wings and creature effects in Kevin Smith's film "Dogma”, He also designed, sculpted, and applied the prosthetics for Darren Aronofsky's film, “Requiem for a Dream”, which changed Oscar nominated actress Ellen Burstyn into a thinning decaying women. The prosthetic effects work is looked at as one of the most convincing transformations in prosthetic makeup history for subtlety and realism. He later worked on Aronofsky produced film "Aftermath" starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Vincent's team created silicone bodies for a graphic plane crash.

Vincent's first breakthrough came when Oscar winning make-up legend Dick Smith recommended him in 1991 for Michael Mann's "The Last of the Mohicans", director Michael Mann would eventually ask him to take over the prosthetic effects. Other noteworthy effects include, Clint Eastwood's "Letters of Iwo Jima" and "Flags of Our Father”, as well as the shocking practical & make-up effects for "The Taking of Deborah Logan."

Director & Producer: Unforgiven, Letters From Iwo Jima & Flags Of Our Father. Vincent created articulated silicone fire masks depicting the Japanese being torched out of their underground fox holes.
